This winter has been brutal. Between snow days and sick days, my kids have not put in a full week of school since before Christmas break.
Chances are, if the little ones are sick, I am too. Unfortunately, moms and dads cannot take sick days. Thanks to Vicks NyQuil and DayQuil Severe, I can trust that I will be well enough to whip up a batch of chicken soup for my little ones (or at least, pop open a can of soup.)
I always keep my medicine cabinet stocked with remedies for common ailments. Back to school shopping time is a great opportunity to stock up my medicine cabinet. Since I am already heading to Walmart, I might as well get all the essential I need to prepare for cold and flu season. While you are at it, pick up a bottle of hand sanitizer too. Let’s face it, back to school means germs and sickness over at my house.
Now, that my oldest is off to college, her first care package included all of our favorite cold and flu remedies, including NyQuil Severe. You can never be too prepared
Walmart has everything I need to help me and my family feel better when illness strikes. Our doctor’s office is in the same shopping center as our local Walmart. While we are waiting for our prescriptions, I like to load up our wagon with just about anything we may need: NyQuil Severe, Puffs tissues, cough drops, chicken soup, ginger ale, and even fuzzy socks to help keep little feet warm and toasty.
