Happy Mother’s Day 2014

Josie's class invited all the moms to a tea party for Mother's Day. The teachers helped the kids record a description of their moms. At the end of each description, they waited for the mom to raise her hand and claim her card.

At the end of this description, I sat there waiting to see who would raise their hand. Then, the teacher said, "Her name is Jennifer." So I looked around the room tryiong to figure out who else was named Jennifer. Finally, as she stared at me, I realized this was MY description.

Just to defend myself, Josie has never been to a swimming lesson (but she knows she is going to start aqua therapy soon) and I have never been in a pool with her. I can't even remember the last time I wore a bathing suit.

When her siblings saw the card, the first thing out of their mouths were, "You're not tall!"

Do you like my portrait? She let it slip that it is, in fact, a picture of Queen Elsa.

I love this kid!

Happy Mother's Day!
