We have been anxiously awaiting the beginning of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. My kids love to celebrate the Opening Ceremonies along with their favorite athletes by having our own party.
Tonight, we enjoyed a Red, White, and Blue Olympic menu.
To help us get in the spirit, we made edible Olympic torches.
Cake or brownie mix or your favorite recipe
24 flat bottomed ice cream cones
Prepare cake batter according to directions.
Fill each cone about 3/4 full of batter, up to first ridge.
Place cones in the cups of a cupcake pan.
Bake as directed.
Tint the frosting using food coloring. We used orange.
Decorate and enjoy!
