Warmer weather is coming and we are looking forward to sitting outside sipping iced tea. Lipton is introducing two brand new products just in time for summer dinners and backyard BBQs. Lipton Herbal Teas and 64-ounce bottles are refreshing at home or on the go.
Lipton Herbal Teas: These fruit infused teas are naturally caffeine-free and available in Strawberry & Mint and Orange Blossom flavors. The 12-pack varieties will be available at major retailers including Walmart, Target, Publix, Food Lion, Giant Eagle and Meijer starting this April for $5.99.
Lipton 64oz Bottles: The new 64oz Lipton bottles are available in the same Lipton flavors you love: Green Tea with Citrus, Diet Green Tea with Citrus, Georgia Style Iced Tea Peach (available in select regions), Southern Sweet Tea (available in select regions), Iced Sweet Tea and Iced Tea Peach. Available at all major retailers this April for $2.29.
Lipton has also created unique cocktail recipes that incorporate their delicious teas.
Lipton Citrus Sky
Ingredients:
- 3oz Lipton Green Tea Citrus
- 2oz Passion Fruit Puree
- 1.5oz Vanilla Vodka
- .5oz Lime Juice
- .25oz Agave Nectar
- 6-8 Ice Cubes
Method:
- Add all items into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously
- Strain over crushed ice (if you don’t have a crushed ice setting on your refrigerator, place ice cubes in a plastic bag and seal. Pound ice with mallet until fine)
- Pour contents of cocktail into a tall glass followed by the crushed ice
- Garnish with lime wheels and a mint sprig
Lipton Frozen Sangria
Ingredients:
- 2.5oz Lipton Green Tea Citrus
- 1oz Rose Wine
- .5oz Sloe Gin (if not available, try substituting .25oz Cassis Liquor, .25oz Plymouth Gin and 1tsp Simple Syrup)
- 3 Strawberries
- 3 Blueberries
- 10 Ice Cubes
Method:
- Add all items to a blender and blend until smooth
- Pour into desired glass
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and fresh berries
