Peppa Pig wants to give thanks while giving back to those less fortunate. Your preschooler’s favorite cartoon character is spending her very first Thanksgiving in America and she is committed to making a difference. Peppa has teamed up with No Kid Hungry and will be donating a minimum of $50,000 to the organization.

This year Peppa traveled away from her home in the UK to explore the US. As she continues her adventures, she’ll experience her first Thanksgiving where she’ll learn about all the different traditions celebrated, including prepping a Thanksgiving dinner, spending time with family and friends and the importance of thankfulness and giving back to those in need.

Peppa is encouraging families to create a new tradition, #PeppaInThePantry, to help little ones learn about being thankful while also raising money for a great cause alongside their friend Peppa. In addition to donating a minimum of $50K to No Kid Hungry, Peppa Pig will donate an additional $5 for each use of the hashtag #PeppaInThePantry on Instagram between Nov. 12  and Nov. 26.

Fans can join Peppa in supporting No Kid Hungry by participating in #PeppaInThePantry in the following ways:

  1. Capture how Peppa is playing part in your Thanksgiving traditions: in the kitchen prepping meals, tucked away with the spices in your pantry, helping set the table, and however else you are practicing thankfulness. You can include a Peppa Pig toy, plush, drawing, or even the show playing on the TV.
  2. Share on Instagram (stories or static posts) from 11/12- 11/26.
  3. Tag #PeppaInThePantry
