Just like small changes can have a big impact, even the tiniest child can help save the world. PepsiCo recently launched the Recycling Innovation Challenge calling on K-12 students to come up with ideas that encourage more frequent recycling habits.
Check out PepsiCo Recycling’s how-to instructions for designing upcycled planters for some Innovation Challenge inspiration. This activity challenges kids to design different types of planters using reusable plastic drink bottles.
Students who work with their teachers or principals to submit their idea before Jan. 31, 2022, will also be entered to win $5,000 for their school
Prizes will go to the top high school, middle school and elementary school entries.
